Vervet Monkey
A vervet monkey was the first animal we encountered in Africa. Several of these feisty primates were lurking around the dining patio at the Arusha Coffee Lodge looking for a handout on our first morning in Africa. We saw them in relatively small numbers in Tarangarie, Manyara and Amboseli National Parks and in the Masai Mara.
