Apache Motel
In the heyday of Route 66, The Apache Motel contributed to the lodging inventory of Tucumcari, New Mexico which boasted "2,000 Motel Rooms - Tucumcari Tonite" on billboards along the Route. While the Apache didn't survive, several other iconic motor hotels in Tucumcari did, including The Blue Swallow, Motel Safari, and the Roadrunner Lodge.
