Pier Burger
For those who have traveled the 2,448 miles from Chicago to LA, the Santa Monica Pier is the end of the trail. While not the official end point of The Mother Road, the Santa Monica Pier is, without question, the traditional and spiritual end of the trail. The sign pictured here was dedicated by the Route 66 Alliance and the Santa Monica Pier Restoration Corp. on the 83rd anniversary of the inception of Route 66.
