Dino Golf
Photographing Route 66 requires a good deal of research. But sometimes, serendipity is more important. On our way from Seligman to Hackberry we stumbled across the scene above. Giant dinosaurs (and eggs) adorned the now defunct miniature golf course. On the right side of the photo you can see what was once the par three third hole. The course is on the grounds of The Cavern Inn, which also offers one room 200 feet underground in the Caverns.
