Union Station Skyline
For me, there’s something very special about standing beneath the tower of the Liberty Memorial, gazing across the vast expanse of lawn to the Bloch Fountain, Union Station and the Kansas City skyline. I was with a group of students from the Kansas City Art Institute the night I made this shot. Moments after I clicked the shutter the skies opened and a monsoon of epic proportions ensued. It was wet, but worth it.
